  • Although I received an email to say that the section of the verge referred to was privately owned there is part of the verge, which is council owned which also has Japanese Knotweed on it. It appears that shortly after I reported the problem to you this part of the verge was cut, up to the point where the Knotweed is. Although this a smaller patch of Knotweed than on the privately owned part of the verge it nevertheless needs to be dealt with. Shouldn't the council be contacting the private landowner to notify them that the Knotweed has spread to public land?
