Overgrown weeds and shrubs on central isle obscuring vision.

Reported anonymously at 10:46, Thu 5 September 2019

Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council and Hertfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

I live in Church Field and my rear garden backs onto the southbound slip road to the A10. Since the alterations to road markings and installation of traffic lights on the roundabout there has been a considerable increase in drivers sounding their horns. Having observed the traffic flows it is obvious that vehicles approaching the roundabout from Westmill Road have difficulty seeing traffic already on the roundabout coming round , at speed, to take the on-slip s/b to the A10. One reason is the vegetation growing high on the central isle which obscures their vision. Another reason,I feel, is the lane markings which allow vehicles in both lanes to make the righthand turn from the A602 onto the s/b A10. Many motorist fail to indicate their intentions making it very difficult for those entering from Westmill Rd to anticipate the intended track of those vehicles. I hope these issues will receive due consideration. Kind regards Ian Thomson
