Dog fouling in children's playground

Reported anonymously at 15:26, Mon 19 August 2019

Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council and Hertfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

Persistent dog fouling within a designated children's playground. Conflicting signs about whether dogs are allowed in the playground have now been removed and a new dog fouling bin installed, yet this has done nothing to curb the continued problem of dogs messing in this playground. Dogs are also frequently left off the leads adding increased anxiety for parents who not only have to scout for dog fouling everytime they take their children to the park, but also for rogue dogs coming out of the woods without leads on. My toddler has been approached more than 3 times by a dog at this park and quite frankly, I'm appalled that the council isn't doing more to protect young children from dog attacks and Toxocariasis from the dog fouling itself.
