Overgrowth of planted area on island is obstructing motorists' view as they enter the roundabout.

Reported in the Grass Cutting category anonymously at 23:55, Tue 3 July 2018

Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council 5 minutes later

Overgrowth of bushes/brambles/grass on traffic island obstructing view when entering the roundabout where A602 crosses the A10 north of Ware. Can planting in this area be removed or shorter plants installed as this problem will continue unless cutting is done frequently. Traffic entering the roundabout has to stop as drivers cannot see over the bushes etc. This needs to be cut/removed so that traffic can flow onto the roundabout without stopping (unless there is a car on the roundabout of course). Currently this is a safety hazard.

  • I think the tops of the shrubs have been taken off, but it is still difficult to see over them when driving a normal car. No problem in a lorry as you can see over the top!
