Flytipping on access lane just off A414

Reported in the Flytipping category anonymously at 17:29, Thu 1 February 2018

Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council less than a minute later

An enormous amount of flytipping - builders rubbish, domestic appliances, bags of rubbish etc. has been on this access road (just off A414) since last November. There has been no effort by the council to remove it. It can be plainly seen if travelling west along the A414. What an advertisement for East Herts!

Updates

  • Council took their time in clearing it, but they had to get half a dozen men, lorries and a digger because there was so much (builders) rubbish. They even had to cordon off part of the A414! That's our council tax being spent disposing of rubbish dumped by builders and others. Surely someone must have seen them. Perhaps time to install CCTV along this access road.

  • Yet more rubbish dumped here, at least 4 piles of builders waste, fencing and asbestos...
